“Oh, I do hope that one day I will meet a rich gentleman that will sweep me off my feet!”
“Rose, I swear that if you don’t stop talking like some lovesick teenager, I will throw myself off this cliff.”
“Oh Macie, why must you be such a party pooper? Why do you hate the idea of falling in love?”
“I don’t hate it. I just think it’s stupid to bind yourself to a person only to get your heart broken later.”
“Not all love stories end like that.”
“Really? Hmm, let’s think. Romeo and Juliet, Titanic, The Notebook, Me Before You, The Fault in our Stars… shall I go on?”
“Well those are just stories.”
“Yeah, well we live in a world where we are not the protagonists, we are just background characters. Although one good thing comes out of it.”
“What’s that?”
“Nobody will even notice when I push you off this cliff.”
