Verdict: Waste of Money
This supposedly purpose-built Notion template for writers promised to “… simplify your life and help you get more done.”
The interface is a mess, focused more on the clearly AI-generated decorative headers than it is ease of use.
In the weekly planner, you have to manually delete the to-do boxes AND manually put in the new week’s dates. The progress journal likewise doesn’t automatically date entries.
Income and expenses all have to be entered manually (or you have to spend an hour figuring out how to export CSVs from all of your sources and then map the headers, and why would you bother with all that?) and the only other functionality offered here is column sums… which Google sheets can do for free.
The work session tracker bizarrely has a column labelled Day that doesn’t offer a basic calendar picker, while the next column over does, but it requires you to pick a start day and end day (which is only useful if you routinely start writing late at night and cross over days, I guess?), as well as a start and end time. And the rest of the work session tracker is hidden behind yet another decorative header, requiring you to scroll sideways to enter anything or see anything.
In short, this product will not, in fact, simplify your life and help you get more done. The company also doesn’t honor their money back guarantee promise.
